Ren discovered Pilates, GYROTONIC® exercise and TRX Suspension Training through her own journey of healing from auto-immune disease. A former athlete, she credits her movement practice with giving her renewed strength, functionality, and freedom from pain. Ren’s passion is to help her students realize their movement and fitness goals, while better understanding the body and its capacity for intelligent, fun exercise. She facilitates training programs tailored to the individual needs of her clients and brings compassion and integrity to each session.
A certified personal trainer, licensed Fletcher Pilates provider, and physical therapy technician, Rachel has 19 years of experience in the field of fitness and health care. Her functional training techniques focus on core strength, posture, and balance, and with training in kettle bells and certification in older-adult fitness (muscular strength, range of motion, and cardio circuit) she has the breadth of knowledge and depth of experience to address a wide variety of health and wellness needs for clients of all ages.
Rachel also helps many of her clients with weight-management issues and challenges. She knows first-hand the hard work, patience, and persistence it takes to begin and maintain a healthier lifestyle. Her motivational approach, coupled with her own personal dedication, helps her clients reach and maintain their fitness goals. She enjoys developing programs that will allow them to live healthy and pain-free lives.
When Rachel is not working, she enjoys running, swimming, and spending time with her husband and two kids.
Alissa began working as a personal trainer and teaching group fitness classes over twenty years ago, while completing her BS in wellness and fitness. In 2002, she graduated from chiropractic college. As a chiropractor, she enjoyed working with athletes of all levels, with an emphasis on functional movement.
Alissa left her chiropractic career to focus on raising her and her husband’s two children. Now that the kids are in school, she is excited to help people gain muscular strength, increase joint range of motion, and improve their overall quality of life through movement.
