Sara was on her way to nursing school when a car accident changed her plans. She received massage to treat her whiplash, and it benefitted her so much that she decided the world of massage was where she belonged. Sara enjoys maintaining a healthy and balanced lifestyle; she feels that being a massage therapist enriches her own life as much as her clients'.
One of the things Sara enjoys most about massage is the variety of tools she can draw from to help her clients with their particular issues, whether they are managing an injury or existing condition or simply seeking overall relaxation and stress reduction. In her treatments, Sara incorporates techniques like myofascial release, Swedish massage, trigger-point therapy, assisted stretching, and deep tissue massage. Along with the range of techniques it encompasses, Sara appreciates the many different ways massage can benefit people.
In her free time, Sara likes to focus on maintaining a clean, healthy diet, which involves lots of cooking, something she has always enjoyed. She has also practiced bellydance most of her life and feels it is an important component of maintaining and developing her mind, body, and soul.
